If you arrive by airplane, it is easier to take a taxi to go to your hotel, specially if you are going to Costa de Caparica.
It's safer to buy the Taxi Voucher (valid only when departing from the airport to anywhere) in the Airport Tourist Information Office, located at the arrivals lounge and open from 7:00 to 24:00. The Taxi Voucher is a bit more expensive than if you pay directly to the Taxi driver, but it is much safer.

Take the A2 high-way to the "Setúbal" direction, then turn right after the "25 de Abril" bridge, taking the "Caparica" direction. Drive through the "Costa de Caparica" road till the "Universidade" exit.

From Lisboa: Praça de Espanha
Take TST bus that connect "Praça de Espanha" to "Costa de Caparica" (bus line 153). The descent will be taken on the road from "Almada" to "Costa de Caparica", in "Casas Velhas".

If you come by train (Fertagus), you must take the rail line that starts at "Roma-Areeiro" and has stations at "Entrecampos", "Sete-Rios" and "Campolide", an get out at "Pragal" station (click here to see the fertagus network map). At "Pragal" you must take one of the following TST bus lines: 124, 125, 126 or 127, all of them have a bus stop in "Monte/Universidade", at the Faculty campus entrance gate.

From Lisboa: Cais do Sodré
Take the boat to "Cacilhas" at the "Cais do Sodré" peer (it will take about 12 minutes) or the boat to "Cacilhas" at "Terreiro do Paço" peer (it will take about 10 minutes). Reaching "Cacilhas", you can use the following TST buses: "Marisol", "Fonte da Telha" or "Costa de Caparica", with descent at "Casas Velhas". If you chose the bus to "Trafaria", the descent will have to be at "Quinta da Torre".

From Lisboa: Belém
Take the boat to "Porto Brandão" at the "Belém" peer (it will take about 12 minutes), followed by a TST bus with the "Monte de Caparica" destination. You will have to make the descent at "Quinta da Torre".

Take the IC20 to "Lisboa/Setúbal" until the exit "Universidade", at "Casas Velhas", after that you must take the road that crosses IC20 over a bridge.

Take the TST bus line 153 (that goes to "Praça de Espanha"), 161 (to "Praça do Areeiro") or 135 (to "Cacilhas"), with descent at "Casas Velhas". You can also take the bus line 194 (to "Pragal (Est.)"), this bus line has a bus stop at "Monte/Universidade", at the Faculty campus entrance gate.
