Hotel information
CSMR'2001 has an allotment aggreement with Holiday Inn, the closest hotel
to the Congress Center. If you choose to stay with this hotel and take
advantage of the conference special price for hotel reservations, you
can use the following hotel reservation form to contact Holiday Inn (doc,
pdf, ps).
Please note that the number of reserved rooms is limited and that this
special hotel reservation option will be available only until the 26th
of February. After this deadline, all the non-occupied rooms will be made
available to the general public.
The Lisbon area offers a large variety of places where you can find suitable
accomodations during your participation in the Conference. There are several
other hotels within a walking distance of the Congress Center. Click

database, this map will be a great help for you to select a suitable hotel.
The University Campus is represented with the character U. Hotels
are represented with H, while subway stations are represented with
M. Use the information mode on the map to get the names of the
highlighted locations.
Since the public transportation is very effective in this area, you can
also choose an hotel in other locations within the Lisbon metropolitan
area. For instance, the Estoril
Coast is just 15 km away from the Portuguese capital, and offers you
the oportunity to stay in the seaside while you attend the conference.
A lovely sightseeing traintrip of about 30 minutes followed by a quick
subway connection can get you to the conference center in less than one
