The Department of Informatics
Our school offers a MSc programme that, among others, provide a set of modules in the area of Graphics and Multimedia Systems.For 2005/06 and 2006/07 sessions, A. Lopes was the Head of the Pedagogical Committee of the 5-years degree in Informatics Engineering.
For session 2007/08 A. Lopes is a member of Scientific Committee of MSc degree in Informatics Engineering as well as the Pedagogical Committee.
External to the school
M. Próspero dos Santos, A. Lopes and F. Birra are members of Eurographics Association via its Portuguese Chapter. The Portuguese Chapter of the European Eurographics Associations runs an annual conference on computer graphics so they do collaborate with the organisation of such events.
M. Próspero dos Santos and A. Lopes are both members of the Computer Graphics Committee for Standard Normalization - CT 109 - associated with the Portuguese Institute of Quality.
